I, erm, got an advance copy of:

Stadium Arcadium [2CD]

28 tracks. Awesome geeeetar! Still getting into it. So far I love ‘Hey’. Check it out, but don’t break Flea’s heart.

I will of course be buying it, like all RHCP CDs, to check out on my new amp (review here) and speakers. Of course, the amp won’t fit in my cabinet. Look at the back of that baby! Here’s the front. Looking forward to checking out the video up-conversion and up-scaling. What’s the difference? I think upconversion is converting the component/composite/s-video to HDMI and upscaling is the conversion of the signal to 1080i or 720p. But I’m not totally sure!

All gets delivered tomorrow.

Today, I’m supposed to be in the rugby pitch four our summer touch team: Athletico Side Boob (I, erm, may have had something to do with the team name). However, I’m still struggling with a shoulder injury from snowboarding. Not caused by the double front flip or the back flip down the mountain, just two stacks on two days where I landed heavily on my left shoulder. Oh yeah, and lack of fitness!

New Kleptones stuff out! At last. Don’t miss the older stuff too.

Sample another track from our forthcoming album-mix-type-thing, “24 Hours”, along with three bonus b-sides. This is the second in a series of three or four EPs that will preceed the release of the album. Each one will be deleted to make way for the next.

Thank God I have Referrer Karma. Check it out, over 13300 blocked spam attempts in the last 3 days.

So I was supposed to be golfing today, but I just don’t feel up to it. Good, a cool 2k down the drain. Plus I got a new 1 year China visa for 1.5k. Gutted. Let the lads down and they let me know. Check this screen shot, 7 SMSs came in within moments of each other, all saying:

BTW, my new TV is awesome, in fact, you know with most TVs, if you play all Walker Texas Ranger episodes back to back, they explode due to awesomeness. Not this one.

I am currently being inundated with new music. Due to these lists.

Loving the new Strokes - First Impressions Of Earth, new Santana - All That I Am, some David Banner - Certified, the new Darkness - One Way Ticket to Hell And Back, My Morning Jacket - Z. Took me a while, but I got around to getting Thievery Corporation - The Cosmic Game.

I reckon the Steven Tyler song on the Santana album will be massive.

Still to come, M83, M.I.A, Kate Bush, The Game, Sean Paul, Lightning Bolt and, erm, Rachel Stevens and McFly.

OK, some other stuff.

Gervais is back on the ‘radio’ - Guardian podcasts, starting on Monday.
