Pretty nice. Faster than Azureus, well faster to start up. Can still block bad IPs, encrypt and set upload/download limits. That’s pretty much all I need.

Uses about the same CPU as Azureus, but 3 times less memory. About 28MB vs 150MB.
Pretty happy so far, well, not totally convinced yet though, it might be a bit slower on the downloads than Azureus. Need to do some more tests.
Ridiculously addictive game.

I’m enjoying Last.fm and the Audioscrobbler client for iTunes. Only 6 years late to the party.

Sorry Spike. Sorry Hemlock. I just got back from an awesome weekend at the Olympics. We saw the last two days of athletics.
Click to make it bigger to check out his face and fingers. Steve Hooker vaulting 5.96m to beat the Olympic record.

Here he is, still on the way down, pointing towards his trainer, I think.
We had a box with unlimited biscuits, drinks, ice-cream, sandwiches and cake. Well actually only the biscuits seemed unending. It was overlooking the 200m bend, if you get me, actually right behind the magic flag poles for the medal ceremonies, so we got close ups of Usain Bolt run his leg of the 4×100m, the men’s jav, the men’s pole vault and the USA/GB women 4×100m baton mess up.
Awesome stadium, so easy, no queuing except at security to get in which took 5 mins, during which you were sprayed with a nice cool mist of water vapor. Crowds were not mental as the space is just so huge.
Atmosphere was great, everyone rooting for everyone. Everyone standing for the anthem of a gold medal winner. Never noticed it before, but the other events stop, and the judges and competitors stand and turn towards the flags.
Everyone was so friendly. The volunteers all over the place were great.
We saw 5 Olympic records I think, and 1 world record.
Was just brilliant.
Wish I’d gone for all 2 weeks.
Anyway, more later.

Mixed reviews, but I’m enjoying it. Lucky Louie. [via The Snoop]

The comedy is nifty, light and kind, even as it tries to be real, slitting open the stand-up themes of marital sex, masturbation and dope smoking until it’s dirty enough to convince you that you’re not being condescended to, but smart enough not to be grim. That’s a huge feat.

A show so vile, it makes you think the company’s arrogant It’s Not TV — It’s HBO slogan isn’t a brag — it’s a threat.
