ex-iphone

When the iPhone hacking websites say that the hacks are used at your own risk, they may not work, and they may totally screw your iPhone - they mean it.

Me: not-so-proud owner of a HK$3400 brick.

One of the steps crashed half-way through, so now it won’t boot at all.

It’s passed on. This iPhone is no more. It has ceased to be. It’s expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late iPhone. It’s a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. This is an ex-iPhone.

(with apologies to Palin and Cleese)

Of course, Doris was watching, waiting, anticipating ….. and then I failed. Failed as a techie. Failed as a man. One of my mates hacked two of them just fine. So, let’s call him Trevor:

“Trevor did two!
“Call Trevor!”
“Trevor could fix it.”
“Call Trevor”
“You’re rubbish”
“Trevor would just suggest the things I am trying!” … “but he did two” …. “yes, but his didn’t do this, so, he’d be in the same position as me, trying different things” … “why don’t you press this button?” … “that’s the volume…”
