   go get a magnum at Bar Rouge and you will be pampered like a royal…all for RMB 1300. I did with a friend and, boy, took us hours to finish the whole bottle…but we got a table - and very good view of the river and da birds of course, compl. strawberries, and some other goodies.

   my all-time fav though is the Blarney Stone on Dongping Lu, in the french concession.
