   Is that even legal? Isn’t there a limit to how much landlords can hike a rent at renewal time?

   Well my lease is up in December, so I guess they can do what they like.

   Sucks. Mine raised his by 37% in June, by July he had an empty flat…..farking landlords out here piss me off!

   don’t sign the new lease…just keep paying the old rent and stay put.

   in fact, stop paying the rent, and stay put..takes 6 months to get an eviction order.
