radio codes

One of the lads started suggesting different meanings for the ‘ten-codes‘, I’ve added a few:

10-31 - any fella with an unattractive lady.
10-80 - on the magic bus to Wan Chai.
10-23 - in The Dock, for a 10-91 resulting in a 10-95. Probably a 10-59. Take them to your 10-82 and hope it’s not a 10-57.
10-14 - first thing you ask if you contact someone and they tell you they are in Wan Chai. Also ask for a 10-13.
10-94 - geezer birds walking up and down outside Delaney’s. Do not 10-37!
10-64 - if you ever are exposed to loud Cantonese “jibber jabber”.
10-51 - when you see a lady of the larger kind.
10-90 - for a high maintenance lady.
10-81 - are you drunk? If so, request a 10-44.
10-35 - Sven not taking enough strikers.
10-70 - spotted a super hot lady.

Who? Eriksson that’s who.

Let it go Sven. If the team is good enough to make it to the last 16, why change it and introduce a guy who is not match fit?!

If he does take Rooney, who do we have up front?

Owen - could break down again. Not match fit.
Walcott - could be an awesome gamble, but he is really an unknown.
Crouch - lacks confidence, not proven. But I do like him.
Rooney - injured.

Sven must sacrifice a midfileder, say Jenas or Carrick, and bring in Bent or Defoe. How Bent is not in the squad I just don’t know.

Say Crouch gets injured! That would be a strike force 10-7.

How I see England’s WC:

Draw with Paraguay, lose to T&T and beat the Swedes. Meet Germany in the second round and go out on pens.

Anyway. I am so excited.

I, erm, got an advance copy of:

Stadium Arcadium [2CD]

28 tracks. Awesome geeeetar! Still getting into it. So far I love ‘Hey’. Check it out, but don’t break Flea’s heart.

I will of course be buying it, like all RHCP CDs, to check out on my new amp (review here) and speakers. Of course, the amp won’t fit in my cabinet. Look at the back of that baby! Here’s the front. Looking forward to checking out the video up-conversion and up-scaling. What’s the difference? I think upconversion is converting the component/composite/s-video to HDMI and upscaling is the conversion of the signal to 1080i or 720p. But I’m not totally sure!

All gets delivered tomorrow.

Today, I’m supposed to be in the rugby pitch four our summer touch team: Athletico Side Boob (I, erm, may have had something to do with the team name). However, I’m still struggling with a shoulder injury from snowboarding. Not caused by the double front flip or the back flip down the mountain, just two stacks on two days where I landed heavily on my left shoulder. Oh yeah, and lack of fitness!
