I’m just too busy for this at the moment. I’ve still got stuff to write about, just no time. E.g. 7s, Bangkok trip (hilarious) and a nice junk outing, plus the origin of the phrase “rubbing romance time”.

bt encryption

Hey, encrypt your Bittorrent traffic ASAP. First it means you avoid any kind of snooping by your ISP, which may include traffic shaping, second, it seems to massively increase your speed.

Info here on how to do it with a few clients. For Azureus, I skipped points 4 and 5, thus allowing no fallbacks, I only connect to other peers that encrypt packets. More info here.

I’ve really seen massive torrent speed increases since switching this on.

Erm, I’m off again. Just for the weekend. Bangkok. I believe it’s Songkran, which is great because the soaking you get from the water hides the soaking you get from your sweat.

Well I’m actually flying tomorrow, so, tonight: a birthday party for one of the sisters in my favourite set of sisters. Except my own set of sisters of course. Lovely.

New find for me, an Aussie singer-songwriter called Lior. Amazing voice. Well I’m loving it right now. Got into that Triple J thing this year.
