Well, let’s see how this goes.
I’ve upgraded to Wordpress 2.0.1 and now use the K2 theme (beta, so there may be some issues).
I’ve customised it a little with the help of the forums and Brandon and I’m trying out some random header photo action.
Also changed from Spam Karma to Akismet for stopping comment/trackback spam. Erm, so far, one comment, one false positive. Not good.
Anyway, that took too long.
So - overall how did the upgrade go? Easy? I still have yet to switch to 2.0 - unless there are some great features, I’m kind of in the frame of mind “if it ain’t broke…”
If you think it’s worth it I’ll make it a weekend project.

WP upgrade was very easy, the usual 5-10 min job. No issues.
I was staying on 1.5.2 as it worked just fine. However, I wanted the latest version of K2, which is WP2 only.
WP2 is slower I reckon, but the WYWIWYG editor is pretty nice.
Most of my time was spent editing the theme and fannying around with photos.
Ok, well I’ll give it a shot - it’s been a while since I installed k2 so bumping up to the latest version may give me some headaches.

Looks great so far. Still haven’t seen any signs of ‘beta’ bugs.
Well I went ahead and upgraded both WordPress and K2 as well - but had a few major headaches along the way.
Sounds like you had an easier time with it, but thanks for reminding me to get my a$$ in gear.
