It went off the other day on the BBC website for feedback. Apparently the BBC’s Newsnight programme had said something like using Bittorrent made you a terrorist or a paedophile. Apparently that part is not true, but they did equate BT usage with copyright infringement.
The producer has backtracked with an entire article - A bit of BitTorrent bother.
First time I’ve almost seen the word ’shit’ on a BBC website.

I’m pretty sure I’m not a paedophile, so I guess that makes me a Terrorist. Interesting, it never occurred to me that someone pathetic enough to be addicted to Grey’s Anatomy could be a terrorist.
I can understand issues of financial loss etc. that various downloading options raise, but the fact is that HK doesn’t run decent TV and the shows I watch I could watch for free in North America. If they want to throw ads in, fine by me, but it seems a bit small to get all titchy when there just isn’t a viable option.
Like the upgrade, BTW. Very hip.
Can you get the Newsnight program in question over P2P?
P.
Yes, you can:

Oh, the irony.
Ok, off to perform some pedo-terror and download it.

I wasn’t the producer, though I agreed with the main thrust of the piece.
Ah yes, sorry, it says “Producer, BBC Newsnight” .. not “The Producer”.
Still not watched it yet myself.
