Ages ago, I had a night guard made for preventing tooth abrasion due to bruxism. My medical plan means I can claim for this, so I did. Twice they sent a cheque to the wrong address - I moved a year ago and had given them the new address many times! So I demanded a wire transfer to my account. The reply:
I can confirm that we have processed your claim but unfortunately we had paid it by cheque in error, this has now been reversed and a wire transfer has been requested. This should be finalised early next week and the payment with you within 7 - 10 working days.
Foxtrot Foxtrot Sierra! Utter incompetents. My reply:
One question - why does it take 7-10 days to transfer the cash? What year is it? 1950?
That will definitely get it moving much faster.
