The incident received a lot of eposure because of the use of acamera phone & the ease of publishing the details. Imagine if this had happened 150 years ago & she had a dog in a horsedrawn carriage & refused to clean up after it took a dump on the floor. She would have been hoofed out the door onto the road sharpish & the yapping dog would have been right behind her. I think she is fair game.

Because, relatively speaking, posting the image or story in an online blog, however popular, is not going reach anyone compared to a mainstream newspaper story. Blogs are just not that powerful. Now, if it was a dancing baby, or singing frog with a small winkie, or a fat kid with a pretend lightsaber, then it spans the world in hours.. But is the naming and shaming really going to have the desired effect?
