Hmmmm, Mr. Shake asks for recruitment agencies in HK and receives a load of talk about blow jobs, illegal and otherwise!

Try the big job sites as the big recruitment agencies tend to advertise their vacancies their:

SCMP
www.monster.com.hk
www.jobsasia.com/home.shtm
www.jobsdb.com

The recruitment agencies in HK tend to be split up into industries anyway and there's so many of them.

Also, try Gooling "jobs asia/hk/etc" and follow the links. You'll be surprised what turns up.

Don't come to SH. It is China after all. One cannot compare true great cities like HK, Bangkok, Jakarta, Taipei etc with bloody China. Trust me on this, I'm finishing my contract and leaving. Chinese colleagues make me seriously consider commiting cold-blooded murder on a daily basis. Until, you work here you just cannot understand how bloody awful things are.

My suggestion:

TAIPEI!

Oooooooooh, the stories. Carnegies? Suits you Sir. Cost of living? Not as low as Bangkok but a Grand Canyon-sized difference from HK. HK$10,000 per month can get you a city-centre palaaaaaace or a mansion out in the moutains like Yangming Mountian (need a car). The people? Bloody fantastic and down-to-earth. The women? Ooooooooooooh, the stories.

SG is very nice, and not as polished as the PR would like us to believe. Let's just say that there are rough, shakyesque edges to the city-state, esp I night...

Saigon is great for a spell, housing prolly the cheapest in the area [US$1,000 for a house with a pool] and entertainment is aplenty. Work environment is a bit more complex, what with the Commie bureaucracy, and the main two cities 2,000 miles appart.

Of course, the above cities are my personal preferences, YMMV.

I would do Bangkok. It's a real city (read: a bit messy and polluted), the condos now are very very nice, cost of living low, some great restaurants and bars, and of course there's always the other attractions.

I quite like illegal blowjobs in Singapore. You get two thrills for the price of one, after all!

Nope. Just pissed off.

I spend about 70% of my real spare time at work. What's the point if you don't like it?
