Inspired by many people, including Javajive and all of his photos, Codino, Cloudless and just generally browsing Flickr, plus always wanting to have a ‘dandy cam’, I just picked up a Canon 350D.
Just got the cheap lens until I get into it, but will probably get a Tamron 28-75.
So, now all I need to know about is apertures, depth of field, f4, f5.6, chromatic aberrations, shutter speed, EV compensation, ‘fast lenses’, ’stops’ and all that bollox. Way too complicated!
The kit lens for the 350D is not bad.. one of those walkabout lens. Has some width and er… hardly any zoom.
Is it already the bonus time of the year? The kaiser seems to be on a shopping spree lately.
