the grippe

What I thought was general malaise and a result of the ale and pies at the weekend turned out to be flu. Or is it? I heard tell of the ‘fact’ that you only get proper flu about once in your life, and when you get it, you really know it, and will be in bed for a couple of weeks. Three days so far for me. I felt reasonably OK on Monday, considering. However, I did gay outgo home pretty early each night of the 7s.

So let’s see:

Typical clinical features of influenza include fever (usually 100° F to 103° F in adults and often even higher in children) and respiratory symptoms, such as cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, as well as headache, muscle aches, and often extreme fatigue. Although nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea can sometimes accompany influenza infection, especially in children, gastrointestinal symptoms are rarely prominent.

Most people who get the flu recover completely in 1 to 2 weeks.

Fever - yes
Cough - yes
Sore troath (sic) - yes
Runny nose - yes
Stuffy nose - yes
Headache - yes
Muscle aches - yes
Extreme fatigue - yes
Sharpittarping brownish water every 30 mins - yes

Sooooo, what do you reckon? I’m feeling slightly better today, but still have the muscle pains, stuffy/runny nose and now, thank the Lord, ear-ache. Could it be the grippe?
