Sorry shaky, think i overdid it with the sprite. And Mia, the 2 mugs of tea are what makes the bill special! Any 'lout' can drink 2,300+HKD of booze but only a true English gentelman cricketer and champion fencer can start off with a cup of cha. Shows ultimate discipline. I call it "zhen and the art of leo".

Re Sambuca - no, that's the Hey Ya Sambuca rule. If you hear Hey Ya on the jukebox, whoever is nearest the bar at the time orders a sambuca for everyone, not the whole bar though, just us lot.

Giles, thats $105 for 3 (bowls i presume) of chips. I'd be more concered about the spring rolls at $117 although that also says "3" is that 3 plates or 3 pieces?

Indeed, the breakfast, tea, first two lagers and the sprite were how Gunther and I started off. There should have been two breakfasts on there.

I've Been To That Bar
The Shaky One demonstrates why a picture is worth a thousand words (or, in this case, $2, 354 Hong Kong dollars). (I would imagine that most expats in Hong Kong have been to that bar, so I’m hardly claiming exclusivity here…)...

If I had to guess, I'd say that the tea drinkers were fortifying themselves for the evening ahead.
