It’s going to be hard to have fun tonight. I’ll feel guilty. Life has to go on though. However, tonight, spare a thought for the thousands not seeing in the new year and those seeing it in whilst searching for their lost loved ones.
Tonight will see the first outing of the full MLCCC. Eight blazers and, now, club ties. Not 100% sure about them, but what the hell. The lads are coming to my place first, where I’ll be screening The Queen’s Christmas speech and Queen at Live Aid and serving sherry.

T M Lewin….that’s a nice, classic touch, Shaky.
It is ok to be out. I am out as well tonight…for a pint only though.
We have got to move on and have a bit of a good time for ourselves, while not forgetting those who may not be as fortunate as us.
Glad to hear that there has been a stupendous response to the crisis from the public here in the UK. £32m in 48 hours is pretty good, and it forced the UK government to up its aid contribution from £15m to £50m. With all the major charities collaborating, the organizations with the best experiences at dealing with this sort of thing can get to work.
Considering your hooligan story earlier in the week, its nice to say I am tentatively proud to be British today!
Anyway, have a great one Shaky and all else who contributes to the blog.
Regards and best wishes to the Snoop, the Shandyman, Doris et al.
Shine jiliin mend hurgeye!
one word: phwoar! surely you cut a dashing figure in them, dont you?
Don’t like the stripes with the stripes.
Still waiting for more shots of Gunther …………
Yeah…if you’re going to do stripes with stripes, at least choose colors that don’t clash. With that combo, all you need to add is propeller beanies and it’ll be complete.
