It’s going to be hard to have fun tonight. I’ll feel guilty. Life has to go on though. However, tonight, spare a thought for the thousands not seeing in the new year and those seeing it in whilst searching for their lost loved ones.
Tonight will see the first outing of the full MLCCC. Eight blazers and, now, club ties. Not 100% sure about them, but what the hell. The lads are coming to my place first, where I’ll be screening The Queen’s Christmas speech and Queen at Live Aid and serving sherry.

Why don’t they make it a holiday? Everyone buggers off at lunchtime anyway. But no, not me. I have to be around, which means I miss out on a dream trip. Can’t say where, but it would have been great! Gutted.

Got an email from the senior photo editor at Newsweek this morning, seeing if they could secure the rights to ‘my’ photo.
Alas it’s not mine. So Newsweek are scouring blogs for photos. Interesting. Also makes me wonder how much people get for photos like this? You’d have to do the right thing and donate the amount though wouldn’t you?
