Married Doris 1 did come round. Totally didn’t believe she would. We watched a movie, Van Wilder, quite funny, followed by a bit of teamwork.
Was a bit late for my training course this morning. When I walked in, I was reminded of a Fast Show character:
“Sorry I’m late, I was up all night shagging”
“Sorry I feel asleep at the wheel, officer, I was up all night shagging” etc. etc.
Except I wasn’t up all night shagging, just ‘teamwork’:
MD1: “I’m going to sleep now, are you going to warpank off?”
Me: “No I am not, but you can do it for me if you like”
MD1: “OK”
Mate. this kind of teamwork deserves medal - I can’t imagine what would would happen if you implemented a collective management model with MD1 !!!
I cannot wait to hear the HR person’s reaction when they ask you to give an example of a successful teamwork situation you’ve been in.
In my company, we have a new business strategy, Managing for Growth. It is nice to see that this is being used by our customers like MD1 as well.
