Ban Chiang in Silom is a good restaurant, although to many tourists know about it now.

There was a Royal Cuisine whatever restaurant in Silom too, can't remember the name, but it shouldn't be too hard to find. Real great food.

There was this bar that was a transfer from Saigon. Yeah, they transfered the bar: closed it in HCMC and reopened in BKK. It was off Sukhumvit. Ah yeah, I remember now, the Q (as in Viet Kieuh) Bar. Off Soi 11. Waitresses were great. And not indecent. If you see what I mean. Chinese, mainly.
I remember looking for this bar quite a while before being able to find it. It's off, off, off Soi 11.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, when I first visited BKK in early (March?) 2000, it had just re-opened, after closing in Saigon. I had been there in 1999, before it closed. And since I was in BKK with a mate from HCMC, we couldn't not go...
Q was pricey, but it beat Gossip Bar (yucks) and Apo... Ah, memories...
