What is it with organisers in HK? First there’s the Harbour Fest debacle and this weekend they screwed up the Rockit festival.
From the SCMP:
“The weekend’s Rockit music festival became an audience lock-in for most of Saturday, say concert-goers.
The two-day, open-air rock music extravaganza in Causeway Bay’s Victoria Park was held from 11am to 11pm on Saturday and Sunday. Some audience members complained they were told they would not be let back in if they left the venue because of a ‘no re-entry’ rule.”
No warning was on the tickets.
The organisers said the police and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department imposed the no re-entry rule, the police say it was nothing to do with them.
Accountability? Maybe there is no such word in Cantonese?
At least they sorted it out for Sunday.

By keeping my promise and attending the thing on Sunday, I missed the rugby. The England game that is. Something that I have not failed to point out to Doris on every possible occasion since.
Seems like me not watching caused something to happen in the England team. Our ball control went to pot, as did Jonny’s kicking. As my mate put it:
“We were shit, the Samoan’s played great”
Still haven’t seen the game, but there is a funny review here.
I’m still deciding which camp to sit in. The “we still won when we were playing badly” or the “the South African’s and Samoan’s have shown the other teams how to beat us” camp.
Maybe that invite I got from some law firm here in HK, inviting me to watch England in the final on Nov. 22nd was a little presumptuous!
Well, I do if the quote in this article are correct.

They’re not happy, not suprising, seeing as what some of the guy’s are like.
At least they’re up for it.
16 years since they last won, but they ended that run with a defeat of Japan. Japan 26-39 USA. They still hold the record of 10 consecutive rugby World Cup defeats.
Maybe it’s because they are not allowed massive pads and helmets, oh and a few full squads that they can change depending on the situation!
OK, OK, defeat record now jointly held with Japan.
